  • Clear Astro non-affiliation statement
  • Research-backed name-use policy
01

Independent of the Astro project

Go for Launch is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the Astro open-source project, The Astro Technology Company, or Cloudflare. Astro and astro.build are named only to identify the framework the toolkit supports.

02

Astro name and stewardship

The Astro Technology Company described itself as the company behind the framework. Its team joined Cloudflare in January 2026, and Astro remains open source and MIT-licensed under Cloudflare stewardship. A July 12, 2026 USPTO search found no federal ASTRO application or registration for the framework owned by The Astro Technology Company, Fred Schott, or Cloudflare. This does not rule out unregistered or non-U.S. rights.

Contribute evidence

The most valuable contributions document real symptoms, causes, failed experiments, fixes, and acceptance results. Platform guidance graduates from alpha only when production evidence supports it.
